Shashti Vrat or Shashti Vratam are the most auspicious days or apt time to perform Pooja and Arpans for the blessings of God almighty as per Hindu rules. During Shashti days the devotees perform various type of fasting to seek blessings which include fasting even without a single drop of water called NIRJALA UPAVASA (the other name for vrat) Shashti is a hindu vrat that comes in every month of the year 2014. All the Shashti days listed below are highly auspicious and are treated as Shashti vrat days worldwide.

In 2014 first Shashti vrat is on 6th January followed by, 4th February, 6th March, 5th April, 4th May, 3rd June, 3rd July, 1st August, 31st August, 29th September, 29th October, 27th November, and the last Shashti date in 2014 marks on 26th December.
