Shivaratri Vrat or Shivaratri Vratam are the most auspicious days or apt time to perform Pooja and Arpans for the blessings of God almighty as per Hindu rules. During Shivaratri days the devotees perform various type of fasting to seek blessings which include fasting even without a single drop of water called NIRJALA UPAVASA (the other name for vrat) Shivaratri is a hindu vrat that comes in every month of the year 2017. In 2017 first Shivaratri vrat is on 26th January followed by, 24th February, 26th March, 24th April, 24th May, 22nd June, 21st July, 20th August, 18th September, 18th October, 16th November, and the last Shivaratri date in 2017 marks on 16th December. Devotees are requested to fast and offer pooja on all these Shivaratri days for the well-being of their own and beloved ones.
