Shashti is the sixth lunar day observed twice each lunar month, dedicated to different deities, often associated with Lord Kartikeya and Goddess Durga.

In 2028 first Shashti vrat is on 2nd January followed by, 1st February, 2nd March, 31st March, 30th April, 29th May, 27th June, 26th July, 25th August, 23rd September, 23rd October, 21st November, and the last Shashti date in 2028 marks on 21st December. Devotees are requested to fast and offer pooja on all these Shashti days for the well-being of their own and beloved ones.
