Sankashti Chaturthi is a monthly observance dedicated to Lord Ganesha, observed on the fourth day after the full moon, to remove obstacles and grant blessings.

In 2015 first Sankashti vrat is on 8th January followed by, 7th February, 9th March, 8th April, 7th May, 5th June, 5th July, 3rd August, 1st September, 1st October, 30th October, 29th November, and the last Sankashti date in 2015 marks on 28th December. Devotees are requested to fast and offer pooja on all these Sankashti days for the well-being of their own and beloved ones.
